here to begin the registration process. Please note that a spot in a classroom will not be reserved until all paperwork (see below) has been received in the office and the school can confirm that there is space for your child or children.
CRITERIA FOR ACCEPTANCE IN CHOSEN SCHOOL
Students will be accepted in their chosen school according to the following order of priority:
路 catchment area students who, in the previous school year, attended the school;
路 catchment area students who, in the previous school year, were "placed" by the district in a different school;
路 siblings of catchment area students;
路 new catchment area students;
路 siblings of non-catchment area students currently enrolled in the school;
路 non-catchment area students who request to attend the school which is other than their catchment area school;
路 non-district area students; and
路 international students.
(Note: catchment area maps are available on the School District website at www.sd23.bc.ca)
The following document must be brought into the school office:
- A valid birth certificate (or other government issued
proof of age and citizenship) for the student
- The driver鈥檚 license or Provincial ID of one parent/guardian
- The BC Care (Health Care Card) of one parent/guardian
- Proof of residence (utility bill, rental agreement etc.)
- A copy of the student's most recent report card (so we can
assign the student to the most appropriate classroom)
